Camping with Friends!
someone in our friend group had the crazy idea to go camping with all of the kids! amazingly, we all agreed it would be a good time, so we went for it. we even did two nights instead of one! haha! it actually was pretty fun but it was a lot of work and there was always someone crying/screaming. there were 8 adults (2 pregnant ladies) and 5 kids, so there was never a dull moment. our neighbors especially loved the sound of what they thought was us torturing our children. they added to the noise by yelling at us all day and night, so we got them kicked out :) we spent the days around the fire (it was chillier than we expected), going on little walks, and playing frisbee by the sound. we were dead tired at night once the kids went down, but we used that time to talk around the fire and play some board games! we created some awesome memories but we decided we won’t do a campout again until everyone can feed themselves, can walk without falling into the fire, and can poop on the toilet haha! next time we’ll pitch tents in our backyard instead!
