Six Months of Rockwell
You’ve started fake coughing…it’s so funny! You think my hands are fascinating. Your back is really ticklish! Your knees buckle when we tickle you while you’re standing. You always roll over when you’re in your crib so now you sleep on your tummy – no more swaddle. You can totally rotate 180 on your tummy! On 7/7 you tried solids for the first time! It was oatmeal mixed with breast milk. You made funny faces but you liked it! I love watching you discover and learn new things everyday! Your eyebrows are so expressive! Everyone comments about them 😁 You’ve started smiling at koda. I can’t wait for you two to be friends! You’re napping so well! 1.5 hours usually! (7/11) Last night you slept through the night again! But this time in your crib! It was about 9:30-4:45! You know who we are and smile at us from across the room. You never giggle anymore but you squeak and squeal a lot ☺️ You love baby shark! It almost always calms you down if you’re crying. You turn the pages when we read! First red eye on your 6 month birthday. Slept for most of it! Adjusting pretty well to the time change in Michigan. You love eating sand and sucking on your thumb when it’s covered in sand. Lots of traveling this summer but you’re doing great! I definitely feel more confident now and we’ve got a good schedule going everyday!
