Easter 2017
just a quick few pictures to commemorate our easter this year! we dyed eggs together for the first time! i’m not sure why we’ve never done it in the past but riley was excited about it this year and insisted we do them, even when i said we didn’t have time. I’m glad he did because we had a lot of fun with it! we kept it simple but also figured out how to marble/tie dye them. riley let one sit in the pink dye for so long that it came out looking seriously florescent! it was hilarious!
it was such an uplifting day all around. the sun came out a little bit (will it ever stick around?!), church was nice, and we fed the missionaries! we had easter lamb…riley’s first time cooking a lamb roast! it was delicious. as we were eating, i noticed that the salad dressing tasted a little funny. we took a look at the bottle that we thought was red wine vinaigrette but turns out it was red wine with rosemary and thyme vinaigrette! it totally tasted like alcohol so one of the elders was a little nervous. but we concluded that it was all good and they didn’t have to repent for eating our salad haha!
since this was our first time dying eggs together, of course i had to do a little photo shoot ;) happy sunday!
