2013 part two
^^^i married my best friend!! i still can hardly believe it! it is my most cherished memory and it was truly the best day of my life. here’s to eternity baby!
^^^went on our honeymoon to the upper peninsula of Michigan on lake huron. it was a dream! this trip is also one of my favorite memories from 2013. i can’t wait to go back!
^^^went back to washington for another awesome reception and spent a fun weekend with riley’s family!
^^^we moved bryce into college at byu! so crazy! we’ve loved having him so close, especially when he’s able to come hang out with us in salt lake to play games all night :)
^^^made new friends, being in the presidency of the interior design program at my school. it has been such a blessing! last semester, here we come!
^^^hiked olympus! a pretty big achievement, i think. it was the hardest hike of my life! but it was so beautiful up there.
^^^became a bigger U of U fan this year and had fun going to a lot of football games with this guy and our friends.
^^^our first halloween together! i guess last year doesn’t count since we weren’t married ;) i got riley into the spirit by watching all of the good halloween movies and making the house all festive. he told me he likes halloween a lot more now :) i’m doing my job right!
^^^we had fun at my friend jenn’s fiesta wedding. also, our friends tj and sarah got married which is so great! we can’t wait to go snowboarding with them this season.
^^^welcomed two of my best friends’ babies into the world! this is jude, chelsey and sean’s sweet baby. we still haven’t met ryder, anna and jordan’s baby! soon, soon :)
^^^christmas in salt lake city is one of my favorite things! they really know how to do it right. lights everywhere!
^^^played lots and lots of board games. riley’s favorite :)
^^^slept in front of the fireplace. the next day, we didn’t have power until 3 pm so riley insisted on cooking on the fire, haha! he’s so awesome.
^^^our first christmas together! we had a blast throughout the whole month. i can’t wait for many more Christmases with riley! i can’t wait to keep family traditions going and to make our own. our tree died pretty fast (and is still waiting for us for when we get back), but looked so pretty all month :)
^^^we ended 2013 with a road trip to california and had so much fun every day that we’ve been here! it’s been sunny, 80 degree weather the whole time! it’s no surprise that we went to the beach almost every day! it’s gonna be hard to go back to frigid weather in utah :/
well there you have it! our year in a (big) nutshell. i loved this year so much. i’m looking forward to this new year and i’m just so thankful that i have riley with me to experience every high and every low that 2014 may have to offer. cheers and happy new year!
