Sisters in Seattle, Part 1
Hello! I was so excited to have my sister brianna in town a few weeks ago. we had a blast showing her around the city. it was her first time to seattle so everything was new to her but we also were able to find new things and food for us to check out as well! one of the first things we did was go to pike place. that’s always a must, plus i like to see what’s going on over there. this time the flower vendors were selling huge beautiful peonies! i’m not sure how i didn’t get a picture of them! i love how the market changes the selection of flowers depending on the time of the year. it was national donut day so we were sure to get two dozen mini donuts at the daily doughnut company. they were delicious and so hot and fresh! we bought two dozen because riley said he would eat an entire dozen by himself haha! me and brianna split a dozen and i didn’t even finish my half!
being a 10 things i hate about you loving family, i also took my sister to all of the spots from the movie. we went to kerry park and then walked around the queen anne neighborhood, stalking all of the incredible houses! we talked about our dream homes and the houses we didn’t like so much :) then, we spent some time getting another view of the city from gas works park. it was fun to see it so full of people enjoying the warm weather. it was so clear that day that we were able to see rainier really well from kerry park and from the ferry. we ate at paseo in fremont and had the best and messiest Caribbean sandwices of our lives! we still can’t wait to go back.
sorry for some of the low quality phone pictures, sometimes you just can’t trust a stranger to take a good picture with the real camera :)
