Hollywood Studios!
how is everyone feeling from all of those announcements at the D23 Expo?! personally, i am still a little upset over some things *ahem* star wars land *ahem* but for the most part, everything is super exciting! i just finished emailing my brother all about it haha! ;)

well, back to what you came here for! we got to hollywood studios right when it opened and went straight to toy story mania because we weren’t able to get fast passes for it. riley had never been on it and it’s a must! i seriously love that ride! hollywood studios was so hard for us because it looks the same everywhere you go! it’s tricky to find your way around! the most important ride of the day: tower of terror. i was literally terrified (and laughing hysterically) when we were in that elevator and it started to move. it’s been a while, okay?! the girl sitting in front of us turned and looked at me like i was an idiot haha! i was just having fun! we met up with madi, peper, and the grandparents again and did rock n roller coaster (so good!) and star tours with them. me and riley must be getting old because we totally started feeling nauseous on star tours! we also watched the muppets show which was pretty entertaining :) hollywood studios would have been a good place to meet some characters, but it never even crossed our minds. oh well, we’ll do it when we have children :)

^^^excited to see they had a pizza planet here! me and bryce always say that they were crazy when they made pizza port at disneyland instead of pizza planet!
hollywood studios has two really fun restaurants that you need a reservation for: 50’s prime time cafe and Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre. we were hungry for lunch so we popped into 50’s prime time and they had some openings! we waited maybe one minute before we were seated! i remember coming here when we were little, we still have the souvenir cups! it’s such a fun restaurant that made me feel like i was in an episode of the andy griffith show! we just got some appetizers (the crab cake and the fried herb & garlic cheese), but we were blown away by them! i honestly wanted to order more!
^^^played around in the “honey i shrunk the kids” play area. this spider web was pretty fun, even thought we are adults haha!
^^^wanted to buy everything in the tower of terror gift shop for our next halloween party!
lunch was supposed to be our last stop before heading over to epcot, but i really wanted to do tower of terror one more time! it had started to rain while we were eating lunch, but we decided to wait in the 30 minute line anyway. well, the line was not covered at all and the rain only got stronger! so, my next tip is this: buy or bring a poncho. we ended up waiting in that line for what felt like an hour and we were drenched. totally soaked to the bone and freezing! my shirt was completely see through and my hair looked like i had just gone swimming. haha! it was not fun!!! our biggest concern was keeping our camera dry. ponchos are a hassle and not cute but they are so worth it! they’re better than an umbrella because you stay more dry and you still have both of your hands! just take it from us who learned the hard way :)

hollywood studios was a blast other than getting lost in the streets and getting soaked in the monsoon that never went away! next up, epcot! see you there!
