Hiking In February!
^^^bangs and wind do not jive well together….
if you haven’t heard, we’ve had a crazy warm winter here in Utah. we’ve only had snow one time in the valley all winter! it’s pretty sad actually, but at this point, everyone is embracing it and spending a lot of time outside, without jackets! so on president’s day, we went on a little hike with koda. it’s called the “living room” hike because people made couches and chairs out of rocks at the peak! it was a relatively easy hike (with some steep parts where I almost died) and the temps were perfect! however, once we got to the peak, it was freezing cold and so windy! it was the weirdest thing! I mean, we weren’t that much higher up. it was a really nice view of the city though! anyway, here are some pictures!
koda acted like he was really tired on the way up: panting a lot and laying down in the shade whenever he found some. what a jokester. he was probably just trying to make me feel better about myself ;)
