Pumpkin Smashes and Corn Mazes
it’s still fall so i think it’s still acceptable to blog about fall-ish things ;) we didn’t dress up this halloween because riley had to work that night (i was really sad about it) . instead my friend alex came over and we made cookies and watched hocus pocus. low key halloween nights are pretty fun!
anyway, the day after halloween, me and riley went to cornbelly’s at thanksgiving point. it was the last day of the season so they had their big pumpkin smash activities happening! we had fun going through the corn maze, watching pig races, racing down the huge slide on potato sacks (i won), and smashing pumpkins of course! cornbelly’s is such a fun thing to do every fall. this year’s theme was wizard of oz. and apparently the cornbelly’s company is the leading cornmaze creators in the country/world…or something along those lines. pretty cool!
now that halloween is over and all of the colorful leaves are pretty much gone, i’m ready to get this holiday season into full swing! alice lane is already decked out in christmas. i’m trying to wait till after thanksgiving to decorate our house! but maybe i’ll make my own rules this year ;)
