The Great Salt Lake
last week, we took a short drive to the place where our lovely city is named after: the great salt lake. or better know as the great stinky lake. this place is eery and makes for some pretty cool pictures but it is stinky and kinda just all around gross. and yes, it is salty. basically, don’t wear nice clothes if you make a visit. this was the first time we brought koda with us and he had a blast! he really had all the room in the world to run! although i could tell he was grossed out by the place too. he tried to lick the water but was turned off right away. we’ll be sure to bring him real water to drink next time!
if you have never been, it’s fun to check out once and take some cool pictures. then you’re pretty much set for life ;) next summer we might try some paddle boarding out there, though.
anyway, happy monday! we’re having a fun weekend enjoying everything utah has to offer in the fall! i’ll post pictures soon :)
