Easters
Just as a little update, we are battling colds over here. not fun. riley was first and on saturday night, he completely lost his voice at work. so sunday he could only whisper if he wanted to talk. so we ditched church (on easter sunday! boo) but i went to teach my lesson to the sunbeams. we went by riley’s aunt and uncle’s house with koda for a little while for dinner and to see the whole family. they are such nice people! then i started getting a sore throat which i still kinda have but it hasn’t been too bad. hopefully it doesn’t turn into a full blown cold. we’re taking lots of herbs, that’s for sure. unfortunately for riley, it’s finals week. so this has made it extra no fun. but on the plus side, the weather has been amazing this past week!! i can’t wait for us to get better so we can enjoy it more!
other than dinner, we didn’t do anything for easter. barely any decorations, no easter baskets, nothing. but we did buy some bags of candy for ourselves ;) and we hid treats in eggs for koda! it was so fun to watch him find them and figure out how to open them. he’s the best!! maybe next year we’ll do better at easter :)
