my little koda
the other day we had a lot of fun spending some time outside with koda! we went up millcreek canyon to go on a hike but there was way more snow than we expected and we definitely were not dressed for it! so we checked it out for a few minutes and then went somewhere a little drier! luckily, we found an aweeeesome dog park which isn’t really like a dog park at all! there’s trees and a creek and hills and lots of space to run around and explore! koda made lots of dog friends! except he was attacked by two huge great danes! it was pretty scary but he defended himself pretty well and ran over to us to protect him. sad moment.
^^^my boys!
^^^his one floppy ear!
^^^this little stinker just plopped right down into the water. i didn’t get a picture of him laying in the muddy puddle that he just loved!
and then we came home and had to give koda a bath and it was the saddest thing ever. once he was in, he wasn’t fighting to get out but was so so sad/scared (or pissed). just look at that face! it breaks my heart! he wouldn’t even eat any treats. i think he hated us for the rest of the day haha.
we can’t believe how perfect koda has been for us! it’s really amazing. he is the sweetest dog i’ve ever met! he’s so chill and only barks when it’s really late at night and he hears people outside. he loves to play and he loves being outside. he follows us everywhere around the house and he’s already really good at being off-leash outside. he even knows where our door is and goes straight to it by himself. a week ago, he hated car rides but he already has learned to stay calm in the back seat and he even jumps in without being told to. he learns so fast and loves people! he hasn’t destroyed anything yet but has started to pick up stray socks he finds on the floor haha. i think he really likes being with us! we officially adopted him on saturday so he’s really ours for good! i can’t get enough of him!
