Oh Christmas Tree
^^^seriously, it’s so skinny that riley could carry it with one hand!

how in the heck is christmas NEXT WEEK?! this happens every year, there just isn’t enough time! trying to embrace every second of it and cram in every festive tradition before i fly to d.c.!
this year, we didn’t have a whole lot of room to spare for a christmas tree, but we moved our tv over and were sure to get a skinny guy this year unlike big bertha from last year! i’ve always wanted a thin one anyway and i love this one that we chose! we went to pfaff christmas tree farm where you cut down your own tree!! koda came with us and helped us find the one as we played some christmas music! the only thing that was missing was snow but it did smell so good in there! it was so hard to pick one favorite but we had to hurry before the dang sun went down! which is why the lighting in all of these pictures is so weird. they also had mini trees that were really tempting to get one for every room in the house! i loved cutting down our own tree! it was surprisingly easy so i think we’ll try to do it every year! maybe we’ll try going to the snowy mountains to cute one down one of these years :) in the next day or two i will be sharing pictures of our cute tree all decorated as well as our christmas-filled home!
