Two Pepers Eat: Current

even though we had a nice dinner at disney world to celebrate our anniversary, we also wanted t do something nice on the 3rd! sadly, I got a bad cold on our actual anniversary day so we decided to save the fancy dinner for a few days later. we tried out the new and delicious restaurant, Current! if you haven’t checked this place out, you have to! they restored an old building on 3rd and 3rd downtown which made me so happy when I watched it being built! they turned it into something amazing! the front is opened up for outside dining which was perfect to watch the sunset as we ate yummy seafood! the atmosphere was so cool.

for an appetizer, we had the Grilled Calamari and the House Smoked Salmon. i wasn’t a fan of the salmon just because it had dill all up in the sauce but the calamari was delicously spicy! for our entrees, we ordered the caramelized salmon (the sauce was unique and sweet, yum!) and the Pan Seared Scallops (perfectly tender). for dessert, we shared the Yuzu Posset. we had no idea what it was (even as we ate it) but our waiter recommended it and it was weirdly good! next time, i want to try the house made doughnuts :) i also can’t wait to try their brunch- my favorite meal of the day!
