Sausalito or Bust!

You guys…I have used all of my data in only a week! I still have the whole month left! I’m so screwed. Wifi has become my new best friend.

Moving on. On our first day in San Francisco, we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge to the cute town of Sausalito! If I had to live in the Bay Area, I would want to live there. It was so pretty and charming!

Driving around here made me wonder why people say northern and Southern California are so different, though. Because everywhere we went I thought it looked like home!

We had some yummy Mexican food right on the water in a cute little taco shack. We watched this guy balance rocks on their sides! And we enjoyed the view of the city!

After Sausalito, we went into the mountains (Marin headlands) and got a great view of the bridge and the beaches! It was fun to find this area to explore! It was strange because there were bunkers built into the mountains everywhere. It was a little eerie! We went to the very end of the road and got out to see the lighthouse. By the time we hiked all the way to it, the tunnel leading to it was closed! So lame!

I would love to spend more time in Sausalito next time. Maybe ride the ferry or hike the trails in the mountains. It was such a fun little beachy town!
