April in a Nutshell
this past month was cra-zay. it feels like it flew by so fast but we were so jam packed and busy and stressed the entire month! riley has been finishing up finals (one more week!!!) so that has limited our time to do a whole lot this month. but there were definitely highlights which I’ve already blogged about. life is always good even when it’s hard :) here are some pictures from fun things I didn’t get around to posting this month, but I don’t want to forget them!
Finally warm and sunny enough for days at the park! Koda is so good at catching frisbees these days! he also makes a good headrest when he’s too worn out to care about it :)
And then it snowed that one time. i wasn’t upset even a little bit about this freak snow storm. i love snow if it happens one day every two months ;) this was the biggest snow fall all winter! It was so crowded that Riley couldn’t even get up to snowbird before he had to turn around to go to work!
Soaked up all the cherry blossoms while they lasted and watched the city turn green! Already miss those little ladies.
We went to gourmandise twice which is always such a treat, especially since their breakfast isn’t exactly healthy! i wish i could eat it everyday!
Ate at red iguana when Riley’s family was in town! And loved seeing the flowers blooming on temple square!
Went home to California for a quick (and kinda boring) trip! I never say no to a view of the ocean and a good pizza though!
More days at the park and late night dinner dates in the city! It’s starting to warm up at night which makes me so giddy! (i don’t have the beach here, so i wear my swimsuit to the park….normal right?)
riley graduates this week and all of our family is coming into town for it! i can’t wait. i’m so excited for him to have a little more free time and a lot less stress! i am really sad that we’re moving on from college life, though. here we come world! :)
