A Day in Ventura
HELLO!! life has been a little busy with traveling and work, but we’ve been having fun! we’ve been lucky to be spending a lot of time with my mom and sister Brianna! To start, we had an amazing trip to California. i took riley to spots he hasn’t been to yet, my old stomping grounds. today i wanted to share pictures of our day in downtown ventura. there are so many cute shops filled of mermaids and coral and surfboards. everything i wish to fill my home with! it was such a gorgeous day and i always love being by the ocean, surrounded by palm trees and spanish architecture. we ate at rice (there are a ton of thai places so we figured we should try one of them! we were so glad we did, it was delicious! brianna also insisted on getting chips and guac at beach house tacos on the pier. well i highly recommend it because…yum! and to top it off, we got some of the most delicious cookies at Sunflowers on the Square. brianna freaked out a little on the pier (anxiety about dropping something through the cracks haha) and said that she was going to go back. me and riley turned around a minute later and she was gone! did she run back?! it was hilarious :) Ventura always reminds me of why i love california so much. the beachy, easy going culture, the bright sun and salty air, and the great authentic food at every turn. it’s truly the best!
