Happy Pioneer Day, or something
yeah, it’s a thing here in utah and i guess it’s a pretty big deal. it’s also a good excuse for there to be parades which makes it take an hour to get to work in the morning. awesome. but, we do get fireworks out of it, so that’s nice. unless you’re a dog like koda and you’re scared all night. poor guy.
anyway, these pictures aren’t pioneer day fireworks, they’re fourth of july fireworks from boston which were really on the third of july. it was madness. they were awesome fireworks until they were cut short because we had to be evacuated because there was a storm coming. and just like that, we were drenched. it’s actually a really great story. let me know if you want to here it next time you see me. or maybe i’ll just tell you, whether you want to hear it or not. because it was a great highlight of our trip.
