Mount Olympus
last saturday, we ventured out to hike mount olympus. which is not just a casual thing. it takes like 6 hours and it’s hard. it’s steep and slippery. we thought it was going to be really cold so i wore too many layers but when you’re hiking up a steep mountain, you start sweating and are no longer cold, so i had to carry all of my layers for the entire hike. there was melting snow towards the top which was actually really pretty but it was also the hardest part of the hike. then it was just so stinking amazing at the top. kinda worth it ;)

i think i can honestly say that this was one of the toughest hikes of my life (so far). i don’t usually do things like this so i’m glad riley pushes me. and now i can say i hiked olympus! we were so so the next couple of days but it was kinda sorta worth it :) and riley even said two days later that he wanted to do it again that week! he’s crazy.
