Quarantine Easter

For us, this easter wasn’t much differnet than normal, other than not being able to go to church. but i’ve been grateful for home church during this pandemic. we all get dressed up and riley and i do the sacrament and a lesson while rockwell sleeps :) way easier than going to church in person haha. amazingly, rockwell has started napping for 2-2.5 hours this last week so on easter, we were able to do home church and our annual easter brunch…in peace :) our easter brunch is always my favorite-chocolate croissants, berries and cream, avocado toast, and ham. all the best! riley also made bread and lamb for dinner which was delicious but not as pretty as brunch, so i didn’t document it. rockwell still isn’t quite old enough to be excited about an easter egg hunt so we only “hid” three hard boiled eggs for him to find. but he loved watching koda find his eggs and crack them open for a treat! he clapped each time koda found a new one :) rockwell did enjoy seeing what was inside his easter basket and his favorite things were the toy from grammy and the grass at the bottom haha! we had a really nice sunny day and spent our time facetiming our families and playing outside!

the saturday before easter, we also had a fun/yummy breakfast and we dyed eggs while rockwell slept! we made spring-shaped pancakes with the yummiest buttermilk syrup topped with fresh berries. i’m so excited that it’s berry season again! and i think easter might be my new favorite holiday to decorate for, especially since we’re in a house now! i loved sprinkling color and bunnies all around the house :)
