i turned 21 on saturday! how weird! riley is the sweetest thing and planned such a fun day for us! i requested to do something new and outdoors, so we got tickets for the Timpanogos cave! we planned on waking up early to get breakfast then hike to the caves, but alas, we slept in. 7 a.m. is just too early haha. the hike was really gorgeous and the air in the mountains is so crisp and delicious! seriously….we love these mountains! then we went through the caves and it was so cool! i’ve never been in caves before so it was an all new experience for me. who would ever think this stuff is right inside of the mountains?! crazy. also, good thing my claustrophobia wasn’t bad. which is shocking because it was super tight in there.

after hiking back down, we drove through the rest of the canyon and stopped at Sundance ski resort! i love it there. and fall is everywhere! so happy! we took the chairlift up and hiked a little and took in the awesome views.

after Sundance, we met up with my brother in provo and got crepes for lunch! as most of you know, saturday was also the Utah-BYU football game. so of course, as we drove around provo, i stuck my head out the window and yelled “go utes” over and over. some reactions i got were hilarious. we then parked and walked around the stadium. we showed up right when the utah team were getting off their bus! score! then we took lots of pictures so it looked like we were actually at the game. we wish.

it was such a great birthday :) i don’t usually care for birthdays very much but riley made the day awesome and so much fun! love him to pieces.
