South Tiger Family Hike
Riley runs this trail all the time and told me that there are tons of foxgloves up there! i wanted to see it, so we planned a day to go as a family when they were at their peak. it was a big hike for rockwell but he did great! riley was a champ as always, wearing eleanor on his back and holding rockwell on his shoulders when the whining got to be too much ;)
highlights included walking through the fields of foxgloves of course. it was hard to get photos that would do it justice! bush whacking through a ton of overgrowth. eleanor kept giggling because it was tickling her :) eating a picnic at the top of the trail, with mt. rainier as a backdrop, and nursing eleanor up there too.
