Deep in the Heart of Texas!
err…deep ellum ;) our first night in texas was spent in deep ellum! it was st. patrick’s day so everywhere was hoppin’! this area was so rad. there were murals around every corner and neon signs on every building. that just added to the cool, young vibe. it seemed like there was something going on in every store, bar, restaurant and club. we just walked around taking pics of the murals and stopped at a few shops. awkward moment when i was taking a picture of a neon sign that i thought said peper’s cantina until i realized it said pepe’s haha! i loved this area and that there were a ton of young people having a good time and we never felt unsafe! i’ll definitely be going back here next time we’re in dallas!
