A Big Huge Announcement!
our lives have always been an adventure together, even since before we got married. we love doing new things and going new places. and i don’t think the adventures are slowing down anytime soon….because…we’re MOVING TO SEATTLE!!! the emerald city! the land of rain and clouds and trees and heath ledger singing in the bleachers! unlucky for me, i’ve never been there. lucky for riley, he’s always wanted to live there!
now that this is really happening, we are both extremely sad (mostly me) to be leaving our precious salt lake city where we have lived for almost five years, where we met and fell in love, and where we have so many memories and friends! neither of us are from utah so we always knew we wouldn’t stay here forever. we had no idea it would be so soon, but here we are! knee deep in boxes and messes that seem a little pointless to clean up now. it’s coming up pretty quickly which scares me because there is still so much to do and so much we want to do. luckily, utah isn’t too terribly far away, so it will still be easy to visit and finish our utah bucket list.
this will be really hard for me because as i’ve said before, i do not handle big changes very well. but i am excited to explore a new city and to meet new people. i’m also so grateful i will have riley (and koda and the kitty) there with me! now, give me all of the pointers you have for seattle! where to eat, where to shop, what to do? any cool tours or museums? any design-y places i will love? please spill!!
