Griffith Observatory
me and my mom drove up to griffith park and i said “i bet that path leads all the way up to the observatory.” so, we parked the car and started walking! turns out that path does lead to the observatory so we just kept walking! people probably thought we were really dumb in our non-workout-clothes. oh well.
it took us a while, but me made it to the top and it was so worth it! the building was beautiful (closed on mondays though) and the views are probably the best in the city! plus the weather was perfect as usual in california ;) it was amazing to think how many actors had been in that very spot for so many different movies! there was even a tribute to james dean for rebel without a cause at the top!
we got to see a few cute pups and i was wishing koda was there with us. he would love it! something people don’t expect from LA is that there are a lot of parks and outdoor areas for dogs and humans! i can’t wait for koda to see it someday :)
i already miss home so much! it made me think a lot about what i want for mine and riley’s future. also, i came back to utah and it snowed for only the second time all winter! we were really excited about it but i definitely would prefer the beach and sunshine over cold snow :)
