Valentines Day//Little Dates #3
this was our third valentine’s day together! and once again i convinced riley to take me to the ballet :) there’s no going back now, we’re going to do this every year forever! we’re so lucky that we have such an incredible ballet company here in salt lake. it’ll make it hard to leave this city someday. i’m slightly obsessed with ballet west. i know about most of the principals and soloists and may or may not follow some of them on instagram. haha! imagine how hard it is for me not to be starstruck when i see them in public!
anyway, this valentine’s day, they performed swan lake. it was some of the best choreography and dancing i’ve seen from them. wow, some parts were so beautiful i could have cried! i wish i could go see it again. we saw the lineup for next year and i already can’t wait for it! marking my calendar now….

we both had work on saturday night so we went to the ballet the night before. and since our dinner plans didn’t work out on friday, we went to brunch on saturday morning at the park cafe. this was our first time going (i’m not a fan of waiting an hour to be seated haha) and it was pretty good! i kept it healthy and ordered jumbo chocolate chip pancakes ;)
i hope you all had a lovely valentine’s day with someone you love! as stupid as the holiday is, i love the excuse to do something a little fancy and special for each other.
